Olivia Rodrigo is an American singer–songwriter and former actress who rose to fame with her breakout single drivers license in 2021. The song became an immediate hit across the globe, and marked her transition from Disney Channel star to pop star sensation.

Known for her emotionally raw lyrics, and musical blend of pop, rock, and indie influences, Olivia's music often explores themes of heartbreak, identity, and growing up, earning her numerous awards, including multiple Grammys.

Her full–length debut album SOUR was released in 2021, followed by GUTS in 2023. Both albums received critical acclaim upon release and solidified her as a defining voice of her generation, with many claiming her to be the Gen–Z Alanis Morissette.
