Olivia Rodrigo Archives is Back!

Olivia Rodrigo Archives is Back!

Hello, everyone! Unfortunately due to both computer and tech–related issues, Olivia–Rodrigo.org has sat as–is for quite a while now. However, I am very pleased to announce that updates will start to unroll on the website immediately! Over the next few days, you can expect the gallery to get a massive update, as I have photos from the last few months of 2023 and all of 2024 to upload. After that, I’ll be working on going through and making sure the existing content pages on the website are up–to–date, and then backtracking to add missing content that has come out since.

It will definitely be a busy endeavour that will take some time, but my goal is to have everything looking fantastic by the end of May. Additionally, while the site’s Twitter account isn’t going anywhere, I doubt we will be using it going forward, so make you’re checking back frequently.

Olivia Rodrigo Announces GUTS World Tour

Olivia Rodrigo Announces GUTS World Tour

Olivia Rodrigo has announced the GUTS world tour. Fans are being asked to register ahead of tickets going on sale to help block bots, reduce resale, and get more tickets directly into the hands of fans who want to attend the show.

Learn how to register for the North American dates below. If you’re interested in information about tour dates in UK and Europe, head to oliviarodrigo.com for more information.

Key Dates To Know

  • Registration for American Express® Early Access and the Registration Onsale is open through Sunday, September 17 at 10 pm ET.
  • Invitations for American Express® Early Access will be sent by the evening of Tuesday, September 19.
  • American Express® Early Access to see Olivia Rodrigo takes place on Wednesday, September 20.
  • Invitations for the Registration Onsale will be sent by the evening of Wednesday, September 20.
  • The Registration Onsale takes place on Thursday, September 21.

Registration does not, however, guarantee that every fan will get access to the sale. We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. A limited number of randomly selected fans will get access to the sale, and others will be put on the waitlist. Getting access to the sale doesn’t guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first–come, first–served basis.

Why do I need to register?
Because Tickets are Limited: When there simply aren’t enough tickets for everyone who wants them, random selection gives all fans who successfully registered a chance to be selected to participate in the sale.

Because it Helps Reduce Bots: Registration helps filter out bots that gain an unfair advantage over fans who want to go to the show. Knowing who should be in the queue ahead of time also makes it easier for us to identify and block suspicious bot–like activity. While it doesn’t guarantee that everyone who buys tickets won’t resell them, it typically cuts that number to less than 5–10% of all tickets (compared to 20–30% of tickets from sales that don’t use registration).

Registration does not guarantee access to the sale, or to tickets. We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available, meaning only a limited number of fans will gain access to the sale. The system will then work on a first–come, first–served basis.

How do I register for the Olivia Rodrigo GUTS world tour?
Simply fill out the registration form and pick your preferred show. You will receive an email confirmation that your registration has been completed.

Next, you’ll receive an email on Wednesday, September 20 letting you know if you were randomly selected to participate in the sale or placed on the waitlist.

A) If you’ve been randomly selected to participate in the sale, you will receive a unique code via text the day before the sale begins. The number of fans who receive access depends on the number of tickets available. Note: Codes only work with your account; they cannot be bought or sold.

B) If you’ve been waitlisted you may be randomly selected to join the sale if tickets remain. If that happens, you’ll be notified via text.

Please remember:

  • This sale can only be accessed by the randomly selected individuals who registered and received a unique access code.
  • Registering does not guarantee you’ll get a code, and receiving a code does not guarantee you will get a ticket.

Olivia Rodrigo is So Over Heartbreak

Olivia Rodrigo is So Over Heartbreak

She’s living her best life on both coasts while holding nothing back. And thanks to her new album, Guts, the 20–year–old superstar has leveled up – with the whole world watching

Oh, my God – look!” Olivia Rodrigo says. “I just parallel parked for you!”

We’re sitting in Rodrigo’s black Range Rover in L.A.’s Highland Park, stopped outside her producer Dan Nigro’s home studio. Rodrigo has a killer late–July outfit on – short, summery floral dress; tall, brown leather boots; her fingers decked out in rings – but she’s pretty bummed about the new pimple between her eyebrows. Accutane, the acne med she’s been on for about six months, makes her lips perpetually dry, so there’s some Burt’s Bees and two travel tubes of Aquaphor jostling around in the cup holder. It’s all pretty typical for a 20–year–old driver, except for the fact that the calendar on her car’s display screen reads “Rolling Stone interview.”

The parallel–parking thing – funny story. Two years ago, on her angst–ridden anthem “Brutal,” Rodrigo blurted out “I’m not cool, and I’m not smart/And I can’t even parallel park” to the tune of more than half a billion streams. “Brutal” was the opening track on 2021’s Sour, the most feverishly anticipated pop debut in years. The album instantly broke the record for the most–streamed female debut in a single week on Spotify, completing Rodrigo’s transformation from Disney teen to one of the biggest, most relatable pop stars on the planet in less than six months. She won three Grammys, performed on SNL, and sang two songs with Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden. (“He’s uncle vibes,” she says.) At Glastonbury, she dedicated Lilly Allen’s “Fuck You” to the Supreme Court after their decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. She even visited the president at the White House in an effort to urge young people to get the Covid–19 vaccine. She’s conquered the parking thing, too, apparently. Now, she just has some other stuff to figure out.

Her top priority right now: overcoming the insane amount of pressure to match Sour – and maybe even top it. Enter Guts. “The beginning was really hard,” she says. “I felt like I couldn’t write a song without thinking about what other people were going to think of it. There were definitely days where I found myself sitting at the piano, excited to write a song, and then cried.”

“There’s so much chaos in your head during second–album time,” says Katy Perry, who faced similar expectations while working on 2010’s Teenage Dream. “You have your whole life to make your first record, and then maybe two years to make your second – while going through a real psychological change as well. Like, ‘Oh, my God, I can buy my mom a car,’ and, ‘Oh, my God, I don’t have to have the stress from my past.’ But it’s a mental jungle out there.”
